" A Short Bio"

Attached to Detachment 38, remote to site 5 (bes), lived on, and ate at KAS when not in Istanbul or Bursa.  We worked a multitude of schedules...4 on, 4 off, rotating days, seconds and nights.  6 on, 4 off...depending on manning.  30 on, and no off....I liked the 4 on and 4 off best..we would often make a trade and work a double shift and get an extra day off.  If you need anything else for your data base, let me know.  Oh, I was there from 61-63.  Actually left the USA on the evening of the 26th of December as I recall.  We travelled category "Z" civilian clothes.  It was PanAM to Frankfurt, Ethiopian to Athens, MEA to Istanbul (then Yesilkoy, now Attaturk International) and ferry named Domabache to Yalova....bus to KAS.  This is fun remembering.
