a brief bio

I was born in Indianapolis Ind. and lived in southern Indiana until I was 16. Moved to Orange County Calif. Joined the Marine Reserves while I was still in high school. 3 days after graduation I went straight to boot camp. After the Marines I enrolled at Orange Coast College. I could not get my head into my studies. I joined the AF; because I had been in the Marines I did not go to Lackland for Basic. I went to school at Scott Field and became a Radio Repairman (304).  Got married in Oct 58. At Goodfellow, I became a Non-Morse Repairman (Y304). Arrived at Karamursel May 15, 1959. My wife Dottie arrived in Nov with our 6 week old son. We lived in Yalova, Had another boy born at Karamursel in Dec 1960. Transferred to Florida in June 61. I worked down range on a mobile tracking station (a lot of TDY). We had a Daughter in 62. I decided it was time to move on.

After the AF, I went to work in electronic manufacturing in Cincinnati, Oh. We had another Daughter. Moved around some from job to job. The last 36 years we have lived in Beavercreek, Ohio. I retired as Vice President of Operations for Fisher Data Products. We now live in a Condo in Kettering Ohio. We have 16 Grandchildren and are enjoying life.
